As Your Personal or Business Financial Counselor...
We will have an initial meeting at no cost to you. At this meeting, we will gain a basic understanding of what your needs are, and how I may assist you. I will explain my methods and answer your questions and concerns. If we are comfortable with each other, we may then proceed. In the case of a couple, both spouses should attend this meeting.
All my advice and recommendations are the result of a planning analysis. I will study your situation and goals and render specific advice. The advice will be in writing and will address your unique situation. If you approve, I will be prepared to carry out all recommendations, you will never have to hunt around for some one to carry out this advice.
Planning is coordinated with tax strategies for maximum effectiveness. I will prepare all required tax documents and filings and sign my name to it. We have an attorney in the office to handle any legal needs that arise. (Trusts, wills, etc...)
You will never get a “cookie cutter, one-size-fits-all” plan. The advice you receive is the result of my analysis, my training and education and my experience going back to 1969. I write each plan individually, one client at a time.
I am fully independent. I have access to all financial products and the freedom to choose what is best for a client’s unique situation. You will always know why I made a certain recommendation and if I don’t know the answer to a question, I will tell you. I will inform you of various choices and help you take the best road. I will always tell you the truth.
I will assume a fiduciary relationship. This means I must always act in your best interest. All the information I gather from our meetings will be confidential and may be revealed in only two cases:
1. You request it.
2. Subpoena from a court of law.
There will never be any unpleasant surprises. The fees and costs will always be what we agreed on, never a penny more. My door will always be open to you. I derive a great deal of personal satisfaction from being a trusted financial advisor. In all my years as a financial counselor, I have never had a registered complaint. It doesn’t mean everyone likes me, it just means I have never done anything professionally wrong to warrant a complaint.
You may check my record with the Board of Standards for Certified Financial Planners, the US Treasury Department (as an EA, Enrolled Agent representing taxpayers interests before the IRS,) the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, the NASD and the New York State Department of Insurance for securities and insurance.
